Narrative
Atticus They should be here soon. As I read I think about my children. I'm sure they're in bed I thought. I waited for the men to come, I'm sure if I handled this calmly they'll be no need for a fight. I could feel the warm air kiss my face as A gust of wind blew by. I was then reminded of one of the times when I was younger. I was 10, my father had told me "Ammunition is expensive son don't wast a shot, if you know you can't make the shot, don't shoot". I'm doing the right thing, I can't let them take him. I see them roll up, I feel the wind they brought with there car, it was hot out tonight. I slowly get out of my seat,"He in there,Mr.Finch?" Said one of the men. "He is" I answered "and he's asleep. Don't wake him up."I answered as authoritative as I could, I just had to stay calm. "You know what we want," another man said "Get aside from the door, Mr.Finch." "You can turn around and go home again, Walter," I said as calmly "Heck Tate's around somewhere." I hope. "The hell he is," said another man. "Heck's bunch's so deep in the woods they won't get our till mornin". Well crap. "Indeed? Why so?" I asked "called'em off on a snip hunt" "Didn't you think a'that, Mr.Finch?" One of the men asked me. "Thought about it, but didn't believe it. Well then that changes things, doesn't it?". Stay calm Atticus, if I stay calm this won't turn into a fight. "It do" Answered a voice I hadn't heard yet tonight. "H-ey, Atticus!", no, no scout what is she doing here? I can feel my body go cold and tense up. I can't let her get hurt there's more on the line now I need to make sure this doesn't turn into a fight or scout might get hurt. I see Jem and Dill run after her. "Go home, Jem" I said.
